The Neighborhood Junior Tennis Program is a community tennis program for kids, based at El Cariso Park in Sylmar and Pioneer Park in San Fernando.

The Neighborhood Junior Tennis Program is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, and our goal is to improve the community through tennis by reducing childhood obesity, reducing gang involvement, and instilling core values of hard work and dedication.

The NJTP offers affordable group tennis lessons, private lessons and tournaments for anyone who wants to learn tennis in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.  Our students come from areas including Sylmar, San Fernando, Granada Hills, Mission Hills, Northridge, Arleta, Pacoima, Burbank, Sun Valley and North Hills.

ITF World Tennis Tour Tournament This Weekend at USC!

This week through January 6th, the University of Southern California is hosting an ITF men’s World Tennis Tour tournament (formerly known as the Pro Circuit / Futures tournament).  Read our post for more information!

NJTP and Telemundo

In June of this year, NJTP coaches and students joined Telemundo’s Sports Experience in Huntington Beach, for a day of tennis instruction, games and prizes to help introduce tennis to kids and adults in the Hispanic community there.  Read more…
