Class Suspension Update – July 5, 2020
NJTP will be closed through the Summer. Our target date for reopening is in the Fall (September). The NJTP Board made this decision for the following reasons:
- LA County ordinance still prohibits sports instructional programming, including group classes.
- With the current rise of infection rates, this ordinance is not likely to relax anytime soon.
- NJTP is undergoing a program restructuring, and will be ready to start up our classes again in the Fall.
Although our classes will not start again until the Fall, the courts are still open and available for singles play and same-family doubles play.
The health and safety of our NJTP families is our top priority! We encourage you to go out and play tennis with a friend or with family members, as long as you do it safely and within County guidelines.
Also allowed are Private or Semi-Private lessons (1 or 2 students with a coach). If you are interested, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will get back to you (if you have a preferred coach, please let us know that too).
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the Fall!
