NJTP sends a huge THANK YOU!!! to everyone who attended the LA County Parks & Recreation Annual Community Meeting on September 17th.
The tennis community was well-represented at the meeting, and we believe it made a positive impact with the County Parks leadership.
As the Parks leaders stated several times during the meeting, feedback from the community is important to help them decide on their budgeting priorities and what projects will get done during the upcoming fiscal year.
If you have not already filled out the survey, we urge you to please use the survey links below, to let the County know your priorities for El Cariso Park!
It is best to fill out the survey in your own words, but here are some topics you may use if you want:
- Tennis is an area you are interested in.
- You can mention that you and/or your children attend classes at NJTP and play matches there, as appropriate.
- The park needs longer hours; lights should remain on until 10pm instead of 9pm.
- Pickleball needs its own separate court area, rather than taking away tennis courts.
- We need more tennis courts to satisfy current demand for tennis, and so that we can hold more tournaments and league play.

The survey will remain open until October 4th, 2024, so please fill out your survey soon!
